Effective January 1: Masks are Optional in VisArts’ Classrooms and Studios
This one-time mindful art workshop offers a gentle, supportive space to slow down, decompress, and reconnect with yourself through creative expression. Guided by a certified life coach, participants will be led through simple mindfulness practices and reflective prompts paired with hands-on artmaking.
Using accessible materials such as drawing, painting, collage, and mixed media, you’ll explore art as a tool for stress relief, emotional regulation, and self-awareness. This workshop is process-focused and judgment-free, emphasizing presence, curiosity, and personal insight rather than creating “perfect” artwork.
Participants will leave feeling grounded, refreshed, and equipped with creative practices they can return to for ongoing reflection and self-care.
This class is for ages 14+.

Classes require a minimum enrollment of four students. If classes must be cancelled due to low enrollment, students will be informed one week prior to the start of the class and issued a full refund.
