Alexander Calder is one of many artists who has created artwork that moves. His mobiles are sculptures that do not remain idle and change dynamically through time and space.
In this class, we will explore this concept and create art in motion. Students will sculpt 3D models and animate them through the 3D modeling program Blender. With live tutorials, students will learn how to utilize several tools in Blender. After each lesson students will unleash their imaginations and create a custom animation that they can show to their friends and family through any device including cell phones and computers.
Instruction will be provided through the Zoom platform. Students will need to have a webcam and the ability to download zoom on their computer, phone, or tablet. Once you register for the class, you will be sent an e-mail with the Zoom URL to log in to the class. Please provide a correct and viable e-mail address when registering as this is how you receive your link.
Please use the Notes section on the registration form to list any accommodations you will need during the class.
This class is specially priced as part of our Emerging Teacher Mentorship Program.
