Altered Books

Instructor:

Marcie Wolf-Hubbard

Turn book pages into works of art!

This class explores creative ways to upcycle books with drawing, painting, collage, and mixed media techniques like gelatin plate prints, photo transfers, and text redaction.

Bring a book to transform – board books, hardcovers, paperbacks, dictionaries, and old textbooks all work – and create your own narrative inspired by sample art.

This class is for ages 14 and up.

This Center for Craft Studies program is made possible in part by a generous grant from the Windgate Foundation.

Please use the Notes section on the registration form to list needed accommodations.

Classes require a minimum enrollment of four students. If classes must be cancelled due to low enrollment, students will be informed one week prior to the start of the class and issued a full refund.
