Loading Events

During this six week course students will focus on larger works in watercolor using more advanced techniques. They will work from their own ideas and photographs to create presentation worthy paintings. Students will all be at different levels but must have a beginner’s knowledge of watercolor.

Materials are not provided. Students may bring their own materials or use the supply list below as suggested materials to purchase.

 

Watercolor Supply List

Foam core board white or drawing board 16×20

Watercolor paper: arches 140 lb cold press cut or torn in half

Masking tape

Pencil   2B

Pencil Sharpener

Eraser kneaded

2 Watercolor Pencils,  in a dark color like, umber, burnt carmine and black

 

Watercolor Brushes:

Princeton Watercolor brushes short handle or better

Palette:

Large covered plastic pallet with wells and mixing areas

Water containers

Paper towels

Windsor Newton Cotman Watercolors 8 oz tubes
