DESCRIPTION:If you’re comfortable with the basics and ready to throw larger\, more consistent pieces\, this class is for you.   \nWe’ll focus on creating beautiful\, functional ceramics\, with demos\, guidance\, and support as you build control and confidence—especially when working with bigger\, more complex forms.  \nRequisite: You should be comfortable throwing more than 3 pounds of clay.  \n\nPlease buy clay prior to your first class; it will be waiting for you on the first day. \n\n\nPractice makes perfect! Sign up for Open Studio. \n\n\nEach student is assigned a shelf for the course. Please clear it on your last day\, unless you’re continuing with another class. \n\nThis class session includes 2500 cubic inches of glaze firings. Students who exceed this amount must pay an overage fee of $0.05 per cubic inch. \nThis class is for students ages 14 and up.  \nPlease use the Notes section on the registration form to list needed accommodations.  \nIf classes must be cancelled due to low enrollment\, students will be informed one week prior to the start of the class and issued a full refund.  \n
