Effective January 1: Masks are Optional in VisArts’ Classrooms and Studios
This workshop is perfect for adults who want a break from the hustle (and side hustle).
We know adulting can be a lot – juggling work, kids, and everything can be exhausting. So why not put yourself on the list? Grab your bestie and come hang out with us for a relaxing night of art! We will walk you through a project, but you will have total freedom to make it your own, with zero pressure. Just come out, relax, and have fun creating something uniquely yours.
We will explore abstract art and artists – taking a critical look at their work – and cover essentials like color mixing, blending, and planning a composition using acrylic paint.
You will have the chance to create your own abstract artwork – geometric, patterned, organic, or textured – in our no-pressure, judgment-free space. The focus will be on finding your own rhythm and style and building confidence as you create art that is all your own.
This workshop is for ages 18 and up.

Classes require a minimum enrollment of four students. If classes must be cancelled due to low enrollment, students will be informed one week prior to the start of the class and issued a full refund.
