Acrylic Painting for All (ages 14 and up)

Acrylic paint offers a vibrant palette of colors and an expansive range of textures and techniques suitable for artists of all levels, from beginners to experienced. In this course, students will harness the power of acrylic paints to unleash their creative potential. They will gain proficiency in various techniques, including color mixing, gradient creation, impasto application, glazing, and palette knife usage. Throughout the class, students will explore diverse subjects, such as natural landscapes and everyday objects, while delving into the artistry of both historical and contemporary painters. Additionally, the course will cover essential elements of composition, tone, and color theory.
