VisArts Accessible Arts classes provide instruction to students across a wide range of physical, emotional, and intellectual abilities. The curriculum is developed with these diverse abilities in mind and instructors provide support as needed with additional assistance and attention to sensory sensitivities.
Students will work with a variety of media such as painting, drawing, printmaking, collage, and more. Different projects, techniques, and skills will be taught each session so this is a great class for students to attend multiple times.
Aides may attend with students free of charge.
VisArts provides all materials needed. Once you have registered, please use this link HERE to schedule an appointment to pick up your materials.
All virtual classes are based in Zoom. Students will need to have a webcam and the ability to download Zoom on their computer, phone, or tablet. Access to the Zoom classroom will be e-mailed the day before the class starts.
