Abstract art is about expression. Life can sometimes feel heavy and having a creative outlet to make it lighter is priceless. If you want to express yourself but also need some direction and help, this is the right place!
This class requires basic knowledge of using acrylic paints on canvas.
On a large canvas, students will explore how to use basic materials, how to set up their workspace, and how to start and paint a background using some unusual tools. Students will find their inner artistic voice using elements of abstract painting including color value, mark making, composition, collage, and textures as well as various ways to move a painting through to the end.
This class is for ages 14+.

Classes require a minimum enrollment of four students. If classes must be cancelled due to low enrollment, students will be informed one week prior to the start of the class and issued a full refund.
